Our Story

Doulado was founded on the belief that a human's wellbeing should be at the top of the priority list, whether it's the beginning of life or the end of life. We saw the impact doulas were making in improving maternal health outcomes, advocating for equitable minority care and supporting people through life’s transitions. For decades, doulas have been piecing together solutions made for other industries to run their businesses and take care of clients. We saw the need to create Doulado, one of the first apps designed to meet the unique caregiving needs of doulas.

Is Doulado right for you?

Everything’s All In One Place

Put a finger down for all the apps you’re using to run your business:

Now imagine fewer logins...

No set-up headaches...

A few seconds for a business task, not hours...

And never losing or forgetting important details again!

“When you type the client’s name all the info is right there…”

Right from your client view you can…

Our most requested feature: share a client with another doula (for free)

Over and over again, we've heard from doulas how complicated it is to share a client with another doula. In fact, it's so complicated it's impacting quality of care. We had to make it better. Whether you're on the Solo plan or the Team plan, you can share a client with another doula for free.

If they're already on Doulado? Great! If they're not - no problem, they'll have a login and be able to view your shared client for free.

THE DOULA STORIES PROJECT

Real women, real stories

Speaking up and out is the first step to expanding the doula narrative. We love highlighting our community members' stories, showing us there’s a wide variety of doula services available for support during life’s transitions.

MIKAYLA RICKS | End of Life Doula, Atlanta, GA

"If you think about it, we've been conditioned to not think about death. Be afraid of it, actually. I mean, how many stories in the media include people trying to find immortality because they're SO afraid of death?

I'm there to help with that.”

ALLYCE R. | Birth & Postpartum Doula, WA

“I think the confidence came from my mom. She taught me that my body was designed to give birth and that it was a natural part of life that should not be feared. “
